HI,

I'm just finishing up my engineering degree and I got a job at a research lab that does mostly DoD contracting. In filling out the forms, I stumbled across a part where I would have to disclose my other citizenships other than USA. My mother is swiss so I also have Swiss citizenship, making me a dual citizen. On another form I noticed that to work at the lab and get a security clearance, one can only have 1 citizenship. I called the HR dept. to ask about this and they said that I would have to renounce my swiss-citizenship in order to work there. I have google'd about online and now I wonder if this is truly the case? I am not about to renounce my swiss citizenship so I will probably have to not take the job..which is a bummer!
Does anybody know anything about a DoD secret clearance and dual-citizenships?

Any help will be apprecited.
